History[]

Hie was shown in scenes throughout the first half of the series, beatboxing while his friends began to rap. throughout these scenes Hie would remain quiet.

Sometime after Kukun goes to a Sabbath party with Miki Kuroda, the group of rappers lose contact with him. They spot someone as they believe is Kukun at a local clothing store, but he falsely accuses them of robbery and they are held at gunpoint by police. Hie refuses to remove his hands from his pockets. The police believe he is holding a gun, but it is actually a recorder. The group is let go when Miki Makimura steps in.

As the society would slowly start to crumble due to the onslaught of demons, Hie and the group would stay behind at the Makimura household. When Akira Fudo and Miko return after the death of Miki's Father, Mother and little brother, but as Miko walks pass Hie she drops her bag on the ground and Kukun's shades would slip out. this led him to mistakenly believe that Miko is a murderer.

As Ryo Asuka publicly reveals Akira's status as a Devilman to the public on live television, Hie is quick to pull out a gun and aim at Akira as a threat. He is the first to take the shot but missed. as Akira would try to plead that he still has a human heart, Hie shifts his aim at Miko instead.

Eventually, Hie and Babo would then quietly betray their friends, as the former saw Wamu and Gabi as traitors for what he believes is disrespecting Kukun's death by sheltering Miko and they proceed kill Wamu and Gabi off-screen. Later as Hie goes with several other rioters to hunt down Miko and Miki, the former is shot down and crippled as she told the latter to flee as fast as she can. Hie and the other gunmen would emerge from their van, and points his gun at the injured female Devilman, but it is implied that she commited suicide.

Soon afterwards he is shown waving around the desecrated remains of his former friends, as well as the pieces of the bodies of Miki and Miko, impaled on wooden pikes in a stupor of madness in front of the burning Makimura household. When Akira arrives, he then incinerates both Hie and the other murderers in his devastation and rage.
