John was the pet dog of Ryo and his father Professor Asuka.

John was a dog of an unknown breed but had ears that pointed straight upwards and seemed to be a mid-sized species.
History[]
John was the pet dog of Ryo Asuka. When his father, Professor Asuka, is possessed by a demon he kills both of Ryo's pets including his Canary, and then John, who had his head cut off with a shovel. Poor doggy.
