Pomalt is a minor demon from the original 'Devilman' manga, appearing as a member of the Tokyo Swarm that attacked Japan.
Appearance[]
Pomalt was a large demon with an insect like body, four long arms with large claws on the end. It had a long snout like mouth, with egg shaped pupiless eyes, small tentacles aside its head and a small nose.
Abilities[]
Pomalt had large claws it could use for hacking, and could emit intense flames from his mouth.
History[]
After Zennon had announced the forthcoming demon invasion across the world, it took only five minuets for a swarm of devils to begin descending down upon the cities of the world, killing and destroying all they could.
During the resultant chaos, the flame insect could be seen spouting his flames, engulfing a house in fire. Shortly after he could be seen watching the flames rise.
Trivia[]
- It was never specifically shown that the head of Pomalt and the body (seen in the gallery below) were both of the same creature in the original manga, due to the awkward angles it appeared in. It was only much later on in 'Gekiman!' that it was revealed to be the same demon.
