Welgerlock was a minor mantis-like demon from the original Devilman manga.
Appearance[]
Welgerlock resembled a humanoid Preying-Mantis demon. He had a extended neck layered with a furry mane, and a large mouth full of sharpened teeth, compound eyes and some short antenna. He had long arms with five fingered hands.
Abilities[]
He seems to have great power in is jaws, any other powers are unknown.
History[]
After Ryo Asuka had urged Akira Fudo to don the Demon Mask, he is bombarded by strange visions of demons during the cretaceous era.
Among the many demons he saw was Welgerlock, who was seen standing proud, with the arm of its enemy in its hand and its head in his jaws.
